Tomorrow it’s back for another dive in the ‘ol Sparks Marina. You don’t hear this very often, but I love diving there this time of year. As long as you don’t stir up the silt, the visibility is pretty good, and there are fish in it–and a jet. Sure they sunk it like a kid’s toy just so divers could swim around it, but I remember watching them (F4 Phantoms) land throughout the day here in Reno before they started flying C130’s here. So, stripped or not, I think it’s cool just to get close to it and get an idea how large those planes are. No doubt, that plane’s got a lot of history too.
