I am a big fan of vintage and historic SCUBA gear. This is a pretty (well, VERY) rare SeaHorse SCUBA double rig from the early 1940’s.

I have one very simular to this. What would something like this cost?
Hi Jamie,
I was out of the country when you sent this. Honestly, I’m not sure what a value would be today. Maybe someone will read this who is more of an authority. I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
Thanks!

I met a man at my work telling me the story about hearing about the new Aqualung, getting the plans and designing his very own. He purchased 4 tanks from the Army or Navy, had them hydrostatic tested and told the welding shop what his intentions were. A gentleman that worked there took interest and helped him fabricate his high pressure valve, and worked out the exhaust issue. He told me stories about his lake adventures recovering gear for friends and family. Years later his brother borrowed it to work on boats in Alaska, from there it disappeared. I showed him this photo and it really brought back memories for him. What an amazing man! I am sure he has many more stories to share
Great story Melissa! Thanks for sharing it! – Joe
