Dive Rite’s 12 lb QR Weight Pocket Set is a small, ditchable weight system that solves the usual problems with add‑on weight pockets. Each pocket holds up to 6 pounds of lead and mounts on any 2‑inch harness webbing, so it works just as well on a backplate and wing as it does on a travel rig or sidemount harness.

Weights are locked in with a low‑profile quick‑release buckle backed up by a hook‑and‑loop safety closure, which keeps them from creeping out or shifting around as you move. When it is time to drop weight, a firm pull on the red tab opens the pocket cleanly so your ballast actually leaves the system instead of hanging halfway out.
