Description
This is one of my Shearwater Petrel dive computers. This computer was originally a first-generation Petrel, but a few years ago it gave me an error code, so I sent it in for service. It turned out to be a problem with the circuit board, so they upgraded all the internals to a Shearwater Petrel 2.
At that time, I paid to get the bezel upgraded to titanium. I’ve only put a little over 200 dives on it since the upgrade.
The display is not scratched. There are a few tiny bubbles under the screen protector.
This computer is not air integrated, but will connect to your iPhone via Bluetooth.
This is a good option for an an affordable trimix capable, multi-gas dive computer suitable for big technical dives, this is definitely that. It also supports fixed set-point CCR diving.
Since upgrading, this computer has never malfunctioned or been flooded. It is one of my personal computers and I am meticulous about maintenance.
The only thing wrong is I broke both of the wrist clips last winter while gearing up in near zero temperatures. I think the cold makes them brittle. It still stays clipped, but I have been meaning to get a replacement. You can see it in the pictures.
I’m selling it because I have two more Shearwater dive computers, one it a Petrel 2 with a Fischer connector for my CCR, and another is a Perdix. I really just don’t need so many Shearwater dive computers.
